Option one- Everyone’s welcome!
Fantastic, sharing your perfect day with everyone, sounds perfect! There’s only one problem: an adult’s perfect day is a zillion miles apart from a child’s perfect day…
Adult wedding guest perfect day
Sobbing quietly into a tissue during the ceremony.
Enjoying a couple of glasses of fizz and a good catch up with rarely seen family and friends during the photos!
A relaxing three course meal you didn’t have to cook yourself.
Laughing and crying at the speeches, too full to move.
A glass of wine in the bar during the ‘in between lull’, time to catch up with those rarely seen family and friends that you won’t see until the next wedding in three years!
Letting your hair down with a few drinks and a boogie in the evening until late at night.
Child wedding guest perfect day
Exploring the fantastic acoustics of the church!
Getting totally lost in ‘the jungle’ (hotel gardens) during a game of hide and seek much to the frustration of mum and dad!
A main course eaten in two minutes as a prelude to pudding. What’s next?
Crawling under tables and tickling unsuspecting guests feet and laughing as loud as possible throughout!
Time to race round the bar and use bar mats as paper aeroplanes, causing a few spillages on the way!
Knee slides on the dance floor. Ouch that hurt! Can we go home now? When are we going home? How longs an hour? My legs are tetchy! I’ve got tummy ache!
Option two- No children at my wedding!
Fantastic, sharing you perfect day with your favourite adult friends and family. Sounds perfect.
There’s only one problem: some of your favourite people might not be able to make it because of childcare (some people don’t have childcare on tap, some will never have left their child and for some finding childcare they are happy with for a whole day and night or even overnight might just be too much to contemplate). And there’s always the smallest chance that you just might offend one of your favourite people.
Option three- Invest in Wedding Childcare
Fantastic, making your special day, a day to remember for everyone for all the right reasons! Sounds perfect!
